The work revolves around the drawn-out, uncomplicated moments in the overexposed light of summer—filtered through treetops, outstretched hands, and the concept of komorebi (the Japanese word for light streaming through leaves).

In the exhibition, the paintings were displayed in a room illuminated by a blend of fading natural light and the artificial glow of nearby works, which gradually brightened at dusk. This interplay allowed the winter light to take on an active role in the presentation, creating a striking contrast between the summer themes of the paintings and the ambient winter atmosphere. The tension between these opposing seasons became a central, unspoken dialogue within the space.
